Personal Risk Services, PRS, is seeking a Composition Analyst to join our Whitehouse Station, New Jersey-based team. The Composition Analyst will perform technical input of text and rates into several policy management & print systems. Preferred systems includes, but willing to train: XICS, Document Composition Facility (DCF), Mainframe, Forms Management, Docusign (e-signature forms), Workshare Compare tools, JIRA, Sharepoint and Solimar Printer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and understand business requirements/work requests to develop and maintain Personal Risk Services' product forms, rules, and rating plans.
  • Perform analysis on all announcement forms from Actuarial and Product Support.
  • Create, update and proofread policy documents (Contracts, Coverage Summary, Booklets and Rate/Rule) in Print platforms/systems, utilizing XICS, DCF, and Forms Management.
  • Update TMF tables for Contract processing.
  • Maintain Rate and Rule manuals using Microsoft Word and rate updates for state submission.
  • Create, code and update text and variable information for all policyholder documents, including but not limited to insurance contracts, Rate & Rule manuals, rate sheets, signature forms, policyholder letters, and contract modifications.
  • Evaluate drafted documents for appropriate style specifications, paragraph and version numbering, convention code and format documents accordingly.
  • Determine document paragraph numbers, versions, and form numbers.
  • Load manuals to the intranet at scheduled times.
  • Interpret form-related filing objections from various states and implement corrective actions.
  • Work in partnership with Product Development, State Filings, Regulatory Compliance, IT, Testing and Chubb's print facility for accurate implementation of new and updated products.
  • Assist in providing time scopes for projects.



  • Proficiency in Software applications, Microsoft WORD, EXCEL, Adobe Acrobat
  • Knowledge and understanding of insurance policy forms and documents
  • Strong technical skills and ability to learn quickly and adapt to and use new technologies
  • Strong analytical, data driven prioritization and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional proof-reading skills
